Ayurvedic Health Educator
Theory and Practice with Patricia Layton.
450 Hour Training Course
September 9, 2011 - March 30, 2012
Ayurveda, the perennial healing system of the Vedas, embodies a tradition
of practices that are particularly relevant for today’s modern world. We invite you to participate in this exciting endeavor to learn the ultimate
methodology of self-care that can, not only, be applied to your own life
but can be taught to others to assist them in their own healing journey. The hallmark of this program is a deep commitment to the transformation of the student, not only the transfer of information. We hope you will take this opportunity to experience the deep change that these teachings can bring.
The Ayurvedic Health Educator program consists of 450 hours focusing
on the fundamental principles of Ayurveda such as philosophy, subtle
physiology and anatomy, assessment, nutrition, cooking, ifestyle
management, psychology, herbalism, and detoxification. At the conclusion of study and fulfillment of requirements, a certificate as an Ayurvedic Health Educator will be rewarded.
This training is open to everyone with a desire to learn. It is a perfect complement
to those already engaged in health or healing professions such as doctors, nurses, chiropractors, massage therapists, yoga teachers, psychologists, mothers, fathers,
dieticians, and others. Whether you are looking for a way to take the next step in your career; or to learn how to live a life of harmony and balance; or to create a wholesome home environment for your family, this is the training for you. Ayurveda is for everyone!
